I’m Gabriela, a registered nurse approved by INAMI/RIZIV. I provide nursing care in your home across south-east Brussels — including the European Quarter — and the neighbouring communes of Flemish and Walloon Brabant. I speak English and French.
You get the same nurse at every visit: someone who knows your treatment, your home and your family, not a different face each time.
Nursing care at home
- Wound care and dressings, simple and complex
- Injections (anticoagulants, insulin, other prescribed treatments)
- Blood tests at home
- IV infusions
- Palliative care
- Diabetes follow-up
- Stoma care (ileostomy, colostomy, urostomy)
- Tracheostomy care
- Urinary catheter care
- Compression stockings
- Enteral and parenteral feeding
- Personal hygiene care, assessed on the Katz scale
- Medication preparation and minor care (eye drops, ointments)
Where I work
Brussels: Etterbeek (European Quarter), Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Auderghem, Watermael-Boitsfort, Ixelles, Uccle.
Flemish Brabant: Tervuren, Overijse, Hoeilaart, Huldenberg.
Walloon Brabant: La Hulpe, Genval, Rixensart, Lasne, Waterloo, Wavre.
How it works
- Get a prescription from your doctor. Home nursing is prescribed like any other treatment.
- Send me a photo of it on WhatsApp, or call me. Writing is often easier than a phone call — I will reply in English.
- I come to your home for the first visit and we organise the rest of the treatment together.
Who pays?
Belgian health insurance (mutuelle / ziekenfonds): nursing care is reimbursed, and in the vast majority of cases you pay nothing.
Staff of the EU institutions (JSIS / RCAM): nursing care prescribed by a doctor is reimbursed by the Joint Sickness Insurance Scheme. I provide the detailed invoice your claim needs. How it works for EU staff ?
International health insurance: I provide an itemised invoice that you can submit to your insurer.
